Caramelised Red Onions are absolutely delicious. Used to make caramelised onion tart, or in salads, or as a condiment in the fridge. This recipe uses a little coconut sugar and balsamic vinegar to caramelise the onions. Be sure to purchase a balsamic that is free from the sulphites added if possible. I frequently use the Biona Balsamic Vinegar in my cooking.
